Home Page : http://thepub.go.cc/ I've got news and previews, as well as all my other maps.

Play Information	: Enjoy. Released with Version 1.0 of Frag*Ball.

Recommended No. Players : 8-16

Description : Recently uncovered by archeologists, The Ruins of Tygon are
one of the newest additions by Liandri to its "family" of
gaming facilities. Instantly recognizing the potential for
their Frag*Ball audiance, in that it was unique from the
rest of their arenas and well suited for that very purpose,
liandri converted this old relic into a viable fighting facilty
			  for their Frag*Ball competitions.

Tactics : Get either the shieldbelt or the armor/thighpads combo before
attempting to attack the base. If coming from the pit, let a
friendly bot or teammate go ahead and clear the way enough for
you to get through. If comming from the top, make sure to dart
across the platform and pick up the shieldbelt before continuing
towards the base. When you get near the base, you can either
go down the path, or climb over the flagroom. Going down the
ramp may result in meeting enemies close up, but going over
the top makes you open to attacks from a larger area.
			  Your choice.

Comments : I really like this map. I mean, I _really_ like this map. I
thought of the basic design sitting in a particularly boring
physics lecture, and once my hand hit the paper, the design
flowed out. Then, everything in the editor came together
perfectly. This map works well with greater numbers of people.

Known Bugs: : Due to the design of the map, the fragnet is behind a wall. To
get to the net, you have to go around and double back. The bots
usually figure this out, but sometimes they shoot at the wall.
I haven't decided whether they are trying to pass the ball or
actually shoot it at the net through the wall, but either way
it doesn't happen all that often and shouldn't affect the score
			  drastically.

Other: Still reading? *sigh* Fine. Something to think about: "what's
the sound of one hand clapping?"
