final update
OK, this is a final version, witch is same as beta1. I have decided to leave JumpBoots on DMHeatRay-CE, since we have got HeatRay-TE by WickeD without them ;]



change list:
-invis swapped to Jump Boots
-walker swapped to AMP
- added 2 vials to the helmet respawn
- removed trees
- easy jumping from shield to vials in the corridor

Also check WickeDs HeatRay-TE here..

Anyway, i dont think that any of these two maps is going to be played. Unfortunately....because HeatRay is one of few great maps in UT3 ;]

DM-HeaTray-CE ...here it is again. My yesterdays post was immature. First CE version has got a bug, caused by UNREALeditor (some static meshes of original HeatRay wasnt loaded ). I have fixed this problem, so u can download now this map, and fully enjoy it (hopefully).

Even though, ive decided to upload "beta version", to have a chance to fix possible uncovered bugs. But not only that! I want you to share your ideas, and i will try to build them into the "final" version. Lets start the discussion about itemlayouts, removing actors, etc... I would like to upload final version at wensday.

I think (and im not alone) that the original HeatRay is a cool map, unfortunately useless for competitive playing. It has a nice atmosphere, funny fights, and looks great!

I have decided to make some really small changes on tis map, to make it more "tourney ready". Actually, there are only two substitutions there.

#1 gay robot changed to amp
well, i guess i dont have to say something about walkers redundancy for 1v1 or TDM play, about AMPs importancy in TDM...do i? So, AMP is avaliable now for TDM, and nicely isolated for 1v1. Another important thing for duelling, u wouldnt get annoyed bu its sound anymore, so u can concentrate your mind to opponents moves.

#2 invis changed to JumpBoots
Im really excited by this cange (no no, not horny ;]). JumpBoobs r so fucking hot in UT, since dodgejump absence. They gave to this map a new level of action. This is blood to respawnkillers weins, its hunters dream. Discovere some insane jumps, like 1-timer from Boots respawn to belt or shield respawn, or 1-timer from Stinger respawn to belt! This is the end of campers, who annoyed me all the fucking time on stairs to belt ;)

So, thats it, this is my penny to the UT community. Enjoy this map, as im enjoying my CubaLibre atm ;p
