Description			Small*ahem*, fast, mostly harmless transport for when all the Mantas are gone.


The Story


Liandri Light Industries is proud to present thier latest arena transoprtation range.

The Hoverfly:
Using the latest Aerospace Gravitic Technology combined with an in credible power to weight ratio makes the Hoverfly _the_ combatant's preferance for node running. Tuned to perfection the Hoverfly's powerplant can propell the Hoverfly to untouchable wheeled speed, but when it goes ballistic, the user directable Gravitic thrusters give it the grace of a cat, making 'landing on all fours' a breeze. The Hoverfly also features an experimental Nitrous Injection system for lightning fast acceleration.

The Wasp:
While using the same basic chassis as the Hoverfly, a proportion of the powerplant output is redirected to a liquid Argon cooled laser turret, offering 360 degree lateral coverage, and a high, constantly maintainable fire. While the laser characteristices may be little more than annoyance to transport, this baby will keep those foot soldiers at bay.

The Bee:
Where the Wasp will let you down when stepping toe to toe with a Scorpion, the Bee trades a little top speed to give that web slinger 
a run for his money.  


The Hornet: A great all 'rounder, the Hornet's integrated Minigun will make most enemies think twice when faced with a barrage of red hot lead.   


The APC:
The Liandri Hybrid Hover Armored Personnel Carrier (AKA the Wildboar) represents the bleeding edge in arena transport. 
With ablative armor that can soak up heavy fire while moving to your landing zone ,and 2 Goliath 'lite'minigun turrets provide withering covering firepower for that moment of disembarkation, the Wildboar is the only option for mass node assaults. 
Seating a Driver, 2 Gunners and 3 passengers, with plenty of roof space for surfers, the Wildboar boasts the largest payload of any arena vehicle. 

Seat selection:
1 Driver (Horn on fire (call near bots to get in the APC) pancake on alt-fire)
2&3 Gunners (fire gun, and limited zoom on alt fire)
4-6 Passengers (zoom on altfire)





So what's this all about? 

Being a life-long biker, and generally getting annoyed with the vehicle drought that seems to plague public servers, I was looking to see if I could produce some kind of mutator that would place a small light, non-tactically important vehicles near each weapon locker. 

I wanted to make the vehicle as lightweight as possible to prevent them from detracting from the roles of the current ONS vehicles, and small so it could be automatically inserted into maps that were not designed to support the vehicle without worrying about them being spawned in the scenery. 

To install

Unzip to your UT2004 folder, with Use folder names enabled in the winzip extract dialouge.





If you want to add permanent Vehicle factories to your own map , Mappers, (you won't have to change it when I do updates) you need to load the ONSTrike.u file into UTed's Actor browser then add the actor

Stuff I know is wrong:-
	Some characters don't fit the trike properly.
	Bee Alt fire has no beam/projectile, I've spent almost a week trying to get this working, but I'm no closer :0( NB, targets hit will flash green.
	Laser has horrible sound, still trying to make it quieter.

Next release:
	Couple more 'turrets'
	Working link beam I hope
	Random Trike spawning by parent factory.

	Retextured Seat and console.

	Got rid of floaty vehicle syndrome and reworked gearbox to cope with tiny radius wheels.
	
	Working bike style front suspension.
	
	Major reworking of Physics parameters to improve high speed handling and 
        top speed, you can now outrun a manta downhill. Releasing the accellerator momentarilty
	 will quicken steering for sharper U-turns.
	
	Cleaned up a bunch Of redundant code.

This is pretty much the base Vehicle done, for the next version I'll be adding a new vehilce, weapons and hopefully a factory that randomly churns out the 2 different vehicles.
