What Is Temporary Competition Mod, and why does it exist?
_______________________________________________
Temporary Competition Mod is a mutator to give some basic functionality which has been lost from the migration from ut2003 to ut2004, Hitsounds and Brightskins, and to a lesser extent stats. I was frustrated with not having access to any way to use Hitsounds And/Or brightskins in ut2004. TTM for ut2k3 has spoiled me so I have created this package to use for scrims and matches and for my own benefit at an attempt to learn how unrealscript and coding in general works. I only intend to use it as a temporary solution until TTM, or an adequate replacement, is released, as I do not have the skill to create a fully-functional mod. As well, with so many people using brightskins on the client-side in the first weeks of ut2004, many are on a diffrent playing field. Since this allows you to force a skin-set, these advantages will not be as severe. It is largely derived from TTM's code, and I could not have created without TTM as an example.

Some of the code (e.g. weapon stats implimenation) is ported from TTM from ut2k4. Hopefully we will see a 2k4 version of TTM soon and we will all have a feature-full Game. Also, thanks to Dnx3 for helping me test if the features worked properly.
