Extended Description
--------------------

Welcome to military outpost #6629B! Make yourself comfortable and keep warm, it's a cold winter. The power and heat hasn't been working since last week's battle, but some of the trucks are still burning, they're plenty warm. Of course, it's not like you'll need to worry for long, the Rickover reactor just over the horizon is about to breach the containment the emergency crews set up before they stranded us here; we'll all be nice and toasty then! What do you mean, evacuation? You kidding? || Cold Snap is my entry for the Nalicity Floorplan Challenge, shaped like dollar sign. ($) Merry Christmas, I hopes ya like the map!

Author's Notes
--------------

A map I threw together pretty quickly for the Naliccity Floorplan Challenge mapping contest. The layout is a dollar sign ($) from above, a fairly uncreative and lacking Z-axis layout. I've got the feeling it would play really well in instagib, but I don't really know; I can't get anyone to test my maps and matches against bots are anything but fun.
It's my first outdoor, non-industrial release. I hopes ye like it.
The map is asymmetrical, it would have been a lot easier if it was. I feel dumb for making it like this, but at least it looks better that way even if it's at the expense of gameplay.
I made the story first, then built the map around that as opposed to making a map with theme x then writing a story. It's fun, try it. Plus it helps give the map a better sense of place and theme.
