[>] Installation:

Extract the files to the following folders located inside your installation directory:

put the .ut2 (map) files in your /maps directory (Replace any existing version)
put the .utx (texture) files in your /textures directory

All other custom items (Sounds, etc.) are built into the map. Additional files are not needed to play the map. Keeping the Readme.txt is recommended.

- Water entry/ambient sounds don't seem to work?

[>] The Bot Issue

The original 2Fort is designed for online play, and this poses a few problems for offline play. Therefore, I've decided to make a few changes. I hope it makes offline play a little better - although unfortunately offline gameplay for this map will never work perfectly. Of course, weather this map will actually be played online is not for me do decide; I hope I've made it good enough to be played online :).


[>] Recommendations/Ideas for play

- Add more bots! (Bot Edition Only); I recommend that you have a high number of bots to get the most out of this map, even if you have to lower your video settings to cope with them. (At least 10!) Everyone loves a bit of chaos in the flag basement ;).

Leftfield - 6/8 War [Rhythm and Stealth]
Aphex Twin - Matchsticks [Selected Ambient Works II]


[>] Gameplay hints and tips:

- There's actually multiple routes to the flag - some shorter, less obvious, and more strategic than others. There's 4 ways into the base and a few multiple routes within. There's more than one route out of the flag basement. Then there's the multiple exits once again ;). Look around.

- There's a few additional tweaks to the map; it's possible to hide (or ambush!) a little more. Look for defence positions that will let you see the enemy before they see you.

- The main resupply areas in your base provides the health and armor and some basic ammo. Outside of that, some pickups are scarce, so if you're in trouble, head home!

- Tried to make it difficult for enemies to get into your resupply areas and spawn camp, but unfortunately, this will not stop them camping outside.

- Lookout for the other team attempting to get the flag back. The outside area is a bottleneck and close to respawn! It's a challenge to get the flag home!

I will always update, optimize, and improve my maps as I see fit. And so, I appreciate all comments, suggestions, and constructive critisism. Bugs will be investigated and fixed; but I won't know about these unless they're reported!
